Founder & Head Coach
Ash Carucci, the founder of FITA-U Performance Centre, has been a successful business owner for close to a decade. Prior to entering the fitness industry and opening his personal training studio in Paddington, Ashley was in a busy corporate career. He would often struggle to perform training sessions if he didn’t have them booked into his calendar or have a program to follow.
After training and coaching in traditional commercial gyms for several years, he was wanting to achieve better results by steering away from using machines and using a more functional style of strength training in a community orientated environment & provide more accountability. This led to setting up FITA-U Performance Centre and the creation of our personal training & small group training programs we offer to help clients get the results they are really after.
Since 2017, our friendly personal trainers have helped improve the health & fitness of over 100 busy career professionals over the age of 40 in Brisbane who now consistently train 3 times per week to feel more energetic, improve their muscle mass, bone density & flexibility.
Frequently asked questions
Do i need to be fit before getting started with Your Personal Trainers?
There is no minimum fitness or strength level to get started with our Personal Trainer. There is no requirement to be in shape, or have any idea what you are doing when you set foot into our studio. And you will never be made to feel inadequate for not being ‘fit’ or ‘in shape’ already - it is literally our job to help you achieve that & our supportive community of clients will encourage as well.
I have an injury/ medical condition; can I still do personal training?
During our initial consult we will go through our pre exercise screening with you. This will allow you to highlight any injuries or medical conditions you may have and we will be able to make regressions or alternatives to certain movements during the sessions.
What makes your Group Personal Training sessions different to other facilities?
We take time to plan out every session, making sure that they are all adaptable for different levels. Our class sizes are capped to ensure you are getting the right amount attention towards your technique and intensity level. We place a huge emphasis on performing quality strength training as well as mobility/flexibility to ensure you can get the maximum benefits from all exercise performed to and to reduce the chance of injury. Correct technique in our classes is a major focus and something we are very passionate about instilling into our members journey from the very start.

How much are your personal training services?
Prices for our personal training & small group training vary. It depends on what your goals are and how many sessions per week we believe you should be participating in to get maximum results in the shortest possible time.
