Personal Trainer/coach role
About The Role:
FITA-U Performance Centre is looking for a Personal Trainer/Coach to join our amazing & experienced team.
This is a Permanent Part Time role (minimum 15 hours per week) where you will be predominately be delivering our programming to our group sessions. With 3 class types on offer, you must be able to clearly and confidently manage small group training sessions in a way that still gives each individual the attention they need to get the best results from the training.
About Us:
We are boutique personal training studio based in Paddington, Brisbane. We predominantly help busy career driven professionals between the age of 45-60 to improve their health & fitness. Our studio offers both 25+ group sessions per week, as well as PT Sessions, which specialise in strength training, conditioning/HIIT & yoga.
Role Responsibilities:
• Lead 45 min small group strength & HIIT classes on a daily basis
• Assist with the design of training sessions
• Have the ability to take some 1-on-1 & 2 -on-1 PT sessions.
• Working closely with the Owner and other Coaches to help drive studio performance and member satisfaction
• Complete some administration tasks
• Assist with tasks such as in house events, challenges & social media content production
• Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained, including cleaning and maintenance
Required Qualifications:
• Cert III & IV in Fitness or Diploma in Fitness
• Current Senior First Aid and CPR
Desired Qualifications:
• Kettlebell, Boxing, Strength & Conditioning and/or CrossFit
• Great time management skills
• Good personal presentation
• Passion for health & fitness
• Display great work ethic, an open mind and willingness to learn
• Live within 10km of Paddington
Previous experience in coaching small group strength & conditioning training and owning your own business within the fitness industry is highly desirable but not essential.

Flexibility Throughout the Week: This position requires schedule flexibility throughout the entire week, encompassing early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional Saturday mornings. This is essential to cater to the diverse schedules and fitness requirements of our members. Our opening hours are 5am-10am and 4pm-7:30pm on weekdays & 7am-10am on Saturday.
